How Natural Language Processing Ltd collects and uses personal data when you visit this website or contact us.

This website, nlp-processing.com, is operated by Natural Language Processing Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 14732406. Our registered office is 60a Eynham Road, London, W12 0HA. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.

2. What this notice covers
This notice applies to this website and to enquiries you send us. Our products — the Agentic Workbench, STAR Interviewer, Proposal & Ideation Sifter, SignPlus and Mantel — process data under separate agreements and privacy terms provided to customers of those products. Where you use one of our products, the terms for that product apply to the data processed within it.
3. Personal data we collect
Information you give us. If you email us, we receive whatever you choose to include, typically your name, email address, organisation and the content of your message.
Technical information collected automatically. Like almost every website, the server that hosts this site keeps standard access logs. These record the IP address of the device making a request, the page requested, the date and time, and the browser type. We do not link this information to you as an individual.
We do not collect any special category data through this website, and the website is not directed at children under 18.
4. Cookies and tracking
This website does not set cookies. We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, session recording or embedded third-party content. Fonts and all other assets are served from our own server, so visiting this site does not send your data to any third party. Because no cookies are placed, no cookie consent banner is shown. 5. Why we use your data and our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to discuss and arrange the supply of our products. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and, where applicable, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To operate, secure and maintain the website, including detecting and preventing abuse. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure and reliable website.
- To comply with legal obligations, such as responding to lawful requests from authorities or keeping records we are required to keep.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send marketing emails unless you have asked us to.
6. Who we share data with
We share personal data only where necessary with:
- our website hosting provider, which processes server logs on our behalf under a written contract;
- our email provider, which stores messages sent to and from us;
- professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, where needed;
- regulators, courts or law-enforcement bodies where we are required to do so by law.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
7. International transfers
We are based in the United Kingdom. Where any of our service providers process data outside the UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.
8. How long we keep data
- Enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting relationship, and are then deleted. In practice this is normally no longer than 24 months after our last contact with you.
- Server access logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short period for security purposes, normally no more than 90 days.
9. Security
This website is served only over HTTPS. Access to our email and hosting accounts is restricted to the people who need it and protected by strong authentication.
10. Your rights
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your data;
- ask us to restrict how we use your data;
- object to our use of your data where we rely on legitimate interests;
- receive your data in a portable format where processing is based on consent or contract;
- withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@nlp-processing.com. We will respond within one month. There is no charge unless a request is clearly unfounded or excessive.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority: ico.org.uk, telephone 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
11. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
